This interactive session introduces business owners, professionals, and organizational leaders to practical ways generative AI can support everyday business workflows while maintaining human judgment, professional responsibility, and organizational standards.

Participants will explore the practical realities of AI in business, separating common hype from tools that can genuinely support productivity today. Through demonstrations and guided discussion, the session examines how AI can assist with tasks such as client communication, marketing content refinement, brainstorming, strategic planning, task organization, and workflow clarity.

The workshop also addresses important considerations related to risk, ethics, and professional responsibility. Topics include protecting confidential information, maintaining brand voice and quality control, and avoiding over-reliance on AI-generated outputs. Participants will be introduced to a simple framework for responsible AI use: Use → Review → Revise → Own, emphasizing the importance of human oversight and accountability.

Through live polls, participant discussion, demonstrations, and Q&A, attendees will identify one workflow where AI could be piloted responsibly within their own work environment. The session concludes with reflection and practical next steps for thoughtful implementation.

This hands-on session introduces upper-elementary students to AI in a fun, structured, and developmentally appropriate way. Students learn what AI is (and isn’t), how to use it safely, and how to ask questions with curiosity and responsibility. They will experiment with age-appropriate tools to build stories, spark ideas, and practice problem-solving, while learning the importance of honesty, privacy, digital citizenship, and verifying information.

This workshop uses Magic School, an education-focused AI tool that allows for guided, age-appropriate exploration without student accounts or sharing personal information, keeping creativity, safety, and human decision-making at the center.
